I am a retired classroom teacher who taught for over 30 years in a school district in upstate New York. Upon retiring, I discovered online teaching, and thoroughly enjoyed teaching dedicated students on the VIPKID platform for 4.5 years. I would welcome the opportunity to teach English to your child by providing a comprehensive/engaging curriculum, positive support, and a focus on conversational skill development.

For the very young student, interactive activities provides a springboard to learning! Additionally, phonemic awareness and sound/symbol instruction provide a solid foundation for reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary development. For the advanced student, targeting grammar and challenging vocabulary builds verbal confidence and success.
